Is Localnee Prompter free?
Yes. Open the app and start recording — no account and no payment needed.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in your browser on phone, tablet or computer. If you'd like it on your home screen like a normal app, use the Download page.
How does it follow my voice?
It uses your browser's speech recognition to hear what you're saying and matches it to your script. Voice mode works in Chrome, Edge and Safari, and needs an internet connection. If voice isn't available, switch to auto-scroll.
Which languages can I speak in?
English (India, US and UK), Hindi and Bengali. Choose your language in the app's settings.
Where are my videos saved?
On your own device. After each take you can download it or share it — we never upload or store your recordings.
Why does it ask for camera and microphone access?
Only after you tap Open app: the camera to record you, and the microphone to record sound and follow your voice. You can turn access off any time in your browser's site settings.
